Xiaomi has announced two new variants of its smart Tv box, the Mi Box 3s and Mi Box 3c. Both smart TV boxes are equipped with quad-core processors, artificial intelligence along with 4K support out of the box. Mi Box 3s is priced at 299 Chinese Yuan which roughly translate to Rs 2,949 at the time of writing.
Mi Box 3s comes with 64-bit capable Quad-core Amlogic S905X processor along with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. 3s sports HDMI 2.0a support along with support for 4K at 60fps out of the box. Xiaomi has also added the support for HDR images in addition to Patch Wall an AI system, Mi Touch IR Remote, Dolby and DTS decoding support. Mi Box 3s boasts Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with Dual band support at 2.4 and 5GHz and Bluetooth v4.1.
Mi Box 3c, the less beefy version of Mi Box 3s comes with a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic S905 processor along with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The company has added HDMI 2.0 support along with Dolby and DTS decoding, Mi IR Remote Control and Patch Wall support. 3c comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with Dual band support at 2.4 and 5 GHs and Bluetooth v4.1 regarding connectivity options.When compared, the Mi Box 3c comes with almost same specs as the Mi Box 3 at a much cheaper point while the Mi Box 3s has received five major updates while keeping the pricing same as Mi Box 3.
